Day’s End 1110-04 - 7.6 oz SUPERWASH Merino wool combed top, spinning fiber, handspinning, baby yarn

In stock, ready to ship. 7.6 oz. Day’s End colorways are made with leftover dyes from a dye session. They are unique and not repeatable.

SUPERWASH 21 micron Merino wool combed top. This wool was raised, processed and now dyed (by me) in the US. 

The SUPERWASH* bases accept the dye pigments super fast, resulting in strong colors with sharper edges, giving much more definition between colors.  This is also the cause of the white spots, which I love, as they add a lot of variation as the fiber is drafted.

*Although this fiber is treated so it will not felt, I highly recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry, so your finished item stays looking new for a long time.
