Day’s End 0528-03 - 6 oz SUPERWASH Merino wool ROVING, sliver, spinning fiber, handspinning, carded wool

I got in some really cool carded superwash Merino. It’s made from combing waste, using the leftover wool, so it’s got a shorter staple length and is a bit uneven. It’s very lofty and full of air. It’s great for spinning long draw.

4.1 oz warms and 2.9 oz cools, for a total of 6 oz SUPERWASH Merino wool roving/sliver. In stock, ready to ship.

The SUPERWASH* bases accept the dye pigments super fast, resulting in strong colors with sharper edges, giving much more definition between colors.  This is also the cause of the white spots, which I love, as they add a lot of variation as the fiber is drafted.

*Although this fiber is treated so it will not felt, I highly recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry, so your finished item stays looking new for a long time.
