Day’s End 0412-01 - 8.8 oz SUPERWASH Merino wool combed top, roving, spinning fiber, handspinning, baby yarn

In stock, ready to ship. Day’s End colorways are made with leftover dyes from a dye session. They are unique and not repeatable.

8.8 oz. SUPERWASH 21 micron Merino wool combed top. This wool was raised, processed and now dyed (by me) in the US. 

The SUPERWASH* bases accept the dye pigments super fast, resulting in strong colors with sharper edges, giving much more definition between colors.  This is also the cause of the white spots, which I love, as they add a lot of variation as the fiber is drafted.

*Although this fiber is treated so it will not felt, I highly recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry, so your finished item stays looking new for a long time.
